Shorin Kung Fu opened its doors in 1987 in California. The growth of our school is credited to Grandmaster Brigham's extensive knowledge and experience acquired from over 50 years of studying and teaching Martial Arts in both Asia and the United States. His knowledge and teaching style have produced many world class martial artists.
Shorin Kung Fu is a unique style Grandmaster Brigham developed from his studies and practices of different martial arts styles throughout the world. The success in students' growth, self defense knowledge, training, community demonstrations, showmanship, tournament success, individual self confidence and sense of accomplishment are all evidence of the superior training we provide at Shorin Kung Fu Dojo.
If you are looking for a school with a balance of sportsmanship and practical self defense training, teaching a balance of both hard and soft styles of martial arts, a school with ancient Asian traditions and American heart and spirit, a belief that development of body and mind can be achieved through martial arts training, no matter what your current level of physical ability, we invite you to join us at the Shorin Kung Fu Dojo.
